Customer Reviews
Good quality, minor website glitch
Unlike Kings Seeds, getting my Tomato Plants from DT Brown was great, though I wish their site made finding the paper catalog easier.
Comprehensive order experience
My recent order included various Vegetable Seeds, a couple of Fruit Trees, and some Seed Trays. The ordering process on the website was straightforward, though it took a moment to find the specific fruit tree varieties I wanted. Delivery was segmented, with seeds arriving first and the trees a few days later, which makes sense for different product types. The seeds were in good condition, well-packaged, and the fruit trees were surprisingly robust for bare-root specimens. I did have a question about planting instructions for one of the trees, and customer support responded within 24 hours with helpful advice. The seed trays are standard quality, nothing exceptional, but perfectly functional. Overall, a reliable experience from start to finish, and the quality of the plants and seeds seems high.
Consistent quality, reliable service
I've ordered from D.T. Brown a few times now, and they're always reliable. This time I needed some new Gardening Tools, specifically a Hand Trowel and some Pruning Shears, along with my usual autumn planting bulbs. Their service is consistently good; the items always arrive well-packaged and on time. I remember once I got some Cabbage Plants that were super strong, and these tools look to be the same quality. It's why I keep coming back; I know what to expect, and they always deliver.
Mixed feelings on delivery
I bought some Raspberry Canes and a few packs of Organic Seeds. The quality of the plants and seeds themselves seems very good, which I appreciate. My main issue was with the delivery time; it took a bit longer than I expected for live plants, which made me a little nervous. However, everything was well-packed and survived the journey just fine. The website was easy to navigate, but clearer estimated delivery times for different product types would be helpful. Overall, a solid choice for gardening supplies, just be prepared for potentially variable shipping.
Easy to find what I needed
I was just browsing for some flower seeds, nothing too specific, just something pretty for my garden. I ended up getting some Sweet Pea Seeds and also decided to try their Wildflower Seeds mix. The website was easy to navigate, and everything arrived without a hitch, actually a day earlier than I expected. The whole thing was pretty straightforward and felt good, no stress at all.
Amazing selection, great service!
Oh my goodness, I just had the best experience with D.T. Brown! I ordered a bunch of different things for my garden this spring, including some Raspberry Canes, Strawberry Plants, and a few packs of their Organic Chilli Seeds. Everything arrived so quickly and was packaged perfectly. The plants looked super healthy, and I'm so excited to get them in the ground. I'm already planning my next order; I can't wait to try more of their stuff. I will definitely be telling all my gardening friends about them!
So happy with my order!
I just received my order of Sweet Pea Seeds and some new Hand Trowels, and I am so excited! Everything arrived perfectly packaged and super fast. The quality of the seeds looks amazing, and the trowels feel really sturdy. I absolutely can't wait to get these planted in my garden. I will definitely be ordering from DT Brown Seeds again, and I'm telling all my gardening friends about them!
Got my stuff, all good
Just got my delivery from DT Brown, ordered some Strawberry Plants and a new Watering Can. The plants look healthy, which is always a relief with live stuff, and the watering can is exactly what I needed. It all showed up when they said it would, no dramas. Pretty smooth experience overall, felt good buying from them.
Great value on my first order
As a first-time buyer, I was looking for a good deal, and DT Brown Seeds delivered! I signed up for their newsletter and got a discount on my order of Seed Potatoes and Onion Sets. The prices were competitive, especially with the extra saving, and the quality of what I received looks really promising. It felt like a smart purchase, getting good quality for less. Definitely worth checking out if you're trying to save a bit.
Good seeds, fast delivery
Ordered some Tomato Seeds. Arrived quickly. Seeds look good. Ready to plant soon. Happy with purchase.

anyone ordered plants from them before? how long do they usually take to get here once ordered? worried about them sitting in transit.
Thinking of getting some seeds from here, but also looking at Thompson & Morgan. Anyone have experience with both and can say which one is better for veggies?
Thinking of getting some vegetable seeds but also some strawberry plants. Can I use a "3 for 2" seed offer AND a first-time buyer discount code?
Is there usually a free delivery code floating around? Adding some seeds to my cart and shipping is kinda high.
